Why does it matter that no drilling is needed?

Every hole in a roof is a potential leak, and solar module brackets are installed by the dozen. This bracket clamps onto the panel seam, so the integrity of the roofing is not broken and the manufacturer warranty stays valid.

Do I have to use the manufacturer’s accessories?

The manufacturer warranty applies when the sheet is fitted with the manufacturer accessories and to the instructions. Cheaper screws with a poorer EPDM washer start letting water through after a few years, and cutting with an angle grinder overheats the coating and voids the warranty entirely. That is why we always suggest ordering the accessories together.

How do I work out how much is needed?

Send us the roof dimensions or a drawing and we will prepare a list with quantities. Screws are usually needed at 6-8 per square metre of slope, but the exact number depends on the roof shape and the amount of flashing.
