Is aerosol paint suitable?

The manufacturer does not recommend it - sprayed paint spreads too far and leaves a visible band. It is better to dab the scratch with a brush from a tin: that way only the damaged spot is covered.

Do I have to use the manufacturer’s accessories?

The manufacturer warranty applies when the sheet is fitted with the manufacturer accessories and to the instructions. Cheaper screws with a poorer EPDM washer start letting water through after a few years, and cutting with an angle grinder overheats the coating and voids the warranty entirely. That is why we always suggest ordering the accessories together.

How do I work out how much is needed?

Send us the roof dimensions or a drawing and we will prepare a list with quantities. Screws are usually needed at 6-8 per square metre of slope, but the exact number depends on the roof shape and the amount of flashing.
