Frequently asked questions
Why have a plinth at all?
Without it a gap is left between the ground and the segment: animals get through it and the edge of the lawn has to be trimmed by hand. The plinth closes that gap and at the same time hides uneven ground - the fence looks straight even on a slope.
Does the base need preparing?
A continuous foundation - no. Only the steel posts are concreted and the plinth is set between them. That is why the work is finished in a day rather than a week.
