Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the 350 and 400 mm modules?
The module length and the upstand height differ: 15 mm for the 350 mm module, 20 mm for the 400 mm one. A sheet with the longer module can be up to 5 300 mm, with the shorter one up to 5 000 mm. The module is chosen to suit the slope length so that less offcut is left.
How much does the sheet weigh?
About 4.7 kg/m². That is roughly five times less than clay tile, so the rafters often need no strengthening.
Can I get a colour sample?
Yes. We send a sample by post or show it in person - on screen a colour always looks different from coated steel.
Do you help calculate the quantity?
Yes. Send us the roof dimensions or a drawing and we will prepare a specification with quantities and a price.
