Z profile
The Z profile - a cold-formed structural section. The Z-shaped cross-section lets purlins be lapped, so long spans go together without extra supports. Made from Magnelis-coated steel, so it resists corrosion both in storage and in place.

Coatings and warranties
Warranty length and colour choice depend on the coating, not the steel. Colour on screen is always approximate - we will send a sample before you order.
Coating shade can vary slightly between raw-material batches. If you are adding to an existing order or need an exact shade - tell us when you order.

Frequently asked questions
How is the profile chosen?
By the span and the loads: the greater the distance between supports, the higher the profile and the thicker the sheet needed. Send us the design or the spans and we will prepare a specification with quantities.
Do the profiles come pre-punched?
Yes. The holes are punched at a regular pitch - Ø14, Ø18 or 19 × 25 mm slots. So the frame is bolted together without drilling on site.
Can it be painted?
Yes, on request the profiles are powder coated. As standard they are left with the Magnelis coating - inside the structure they are not visible anyway.
