The Σ+ profile - a cold-formed structural section. A Σ with the flange edges additionally turned in - the highest load capacity in the range. Made from Magnelis-coated steel, so it resists corrosion both in storage and in place.

Warranty length and colour choice depend on the coating, not the steel. Colour on screen is always approximate - we will send a sample before you order.
Coating shade can vary slightly between raw-material batches. If you are adding to an existing order or need an exact shade - tell us when you order.

Frequently asked questions
How is the profile chosen?
By the span and the loads: the greater the distance between supports, the higher the profile and the thicker the sheet needed. Send us the design or the spans and we will prepare a specification with quantities.
How does it differ from the standard version?
The Σ+ has its flange edges additionally turned in and carries more than a Σ of the same size. Because of those folds the thickness is limited to 2.50 mm.
Do the profiles come pre-punched?
Yes. The holes are punched at a regular pitch - Ø14, Ø18 or 19 × 25 mm slots. So the frame is bolted together without drilling on site.
Can it be painted?
Yes, on request the profiles are powder coated. As standard they are left with the Magnelis coating - inside the structure they are not visible anyway.
