KARO 345 starter

A triangular starter panel for the KARO 345 series. It goes in the bottom course and along the roof edges so the diamond pattern starts on a straight line instead of cut corners.

Warranty length and colour choice depend on the coating, not the steel. Colour on screen is always approximate - we will send a sample before you order.

Coating shade can vary slightly between raw-material batches. If you are adding to an existing order or need an exact shade - tell us when you order.

Frequently asked questions

What is the starter panel for?

KARO panels are laid in a diamond pattern, so the bottom course and the roof edges would be left with cut corners. The triangular starter panel finishes that course in a straight line - without it the edge would have to be cut on site, and a cut exposes bare steel.

How many are needed?

It depends on the eaves length: starter panels run along the whole bottom course. Send us the roof dimensions and we will work out the quantity together with the main panels - they are ordered together so the colour matches.

Will the colour really match the main panels?

Yes, if ordered together. The paint shade can differ slightly between batches, so we always make the starter and the main panels from the same coil.

Can I get a colour sample?

Yes. We send a sample by post or show it in person - on screen a colour always looks different from coated steel.
