Galvanised and aluzinc sheets must stay dry in transport and storage - once damp they quickly develop white corrosion.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the wave height?
The higher the wave, the stiffer the sheet and the longer the distance it spans between supports. The T18 OC wave is 18 mm. Low profiles are chosen for facades and small roofs, high ones where supports are far apart or loads are heavy.
What should the end lap be?
It depends on the roof pitch: from 6° to 9° use 300 mm, steeper than 9° use 200 mm. The side lap is always one wave.
Can it be perforated?
Yes, perforation is available to order - usually where ventilation or a decorative light effect is wanted.
Can I get a colour sample?
Yes. We send a sample by post or show it in person - on screen a colour always looks different from coated steel.
