PWD2-MW-200 - WOOLTECH Roof

PWD2-MW-200

A 200 mm WOOLTECH Roof panel for roofs. Thermal transmittance U = 0.20 W/m²K - a non-combustible roof panel for industrial and public buildings. The mineral-wool core does not burn, so these panels are chosen where fire requirements matter more than the thinnest possible build-up.

  • U = 0,20 W/m²K The lower the number, the less heat the wall lets through.
  • Visible Panels are laid in one direction and joined along the long edge.
  • For industrial buildings Warehouses, factories, sports and farm buildings.

Coatings and warranties

Warranty length and colour choice depend on the coating, not the steel. Colour on screen is always approximate - we will send a sample before you order.

Coating shade can vary slightly between raw-material batches. If you are adding to an existing order or need an exact shade - tell us when you order.

Frequently asked questions

What panel thickness do I need?

Thickness drives the insulation: a 200 mm panel gives U = 0.20 W/m²K. For heated buildings people usually pick a thickness that brings U to 0.20 W/m²K or lower; for unheated stores and farm buildings a thinner panel is enough. Send us the design and we will tell you which thickness meets the requirement.

How is mineral wool better than polyurethane?

The wool core is non-combustible - reaction to fire class A2-s1,d0, the highest possible for sandwich panels. Where fire requirements are strict (production halls, stores holding flammable goods, public buildings), that decides the choice. The price is greater thickness and weight for the same thermal performance.

From what pitch can it be laid?

From 5% (3°) when the roof is covered with continuous panels. If the panels are joined with a cross seam, the minimum pitch is 7% (4°).

Do the panels meet building requirements?

Yes. They are made to LST EN 14509 and CE marked. We supply the reaction-to-fire class, the fire resistance and the tightness figures together with the quote.
