Frequently asked questions
Where is the corrugated profile used?
Mostly for facades, but also for fences and garage doors. That is exactly why it is often chosen when the house wall, the fence and the gates should look like one solution.
Which thickness should I choose?
0.50 mm is enough for an ordinary facade; sheets up to 6 m are made from it. 0.70 mm is stiffer and allows sheets up to 7 m, so it is chosen for tall walls with no cross joints. Note: the TOPMAT coating is only made on 0.50 mm sheet.
Is a ventilation gap needed?
Yes. The profile is fixed to a frame, and a ventilation gap with thermal insulation is left between it and the wall - that way moisture does not build up and the wall lasts longer.
Can I get a colour sample?
Yes. We send a sample by post or show it in person - on screen a colour always looks different from coated steel.
