Coatings and warranties

Warranty length and colour choice depend on the coating, not the steel. Colour on screen is always approximate - we will send a sample before you order.

Frequently asked questions

When should you choose the 60° layout?

When you need the largest possible open area - a triangular grid fits more holes into the same area than straight rows. Rv 10-12 reaches 63%, which straight rows cannot match. In exchange the sheet stays softer, so long spans need thicker steel.

What do W and P mean?

W is the hole size, P the distance between the centres of adjacent holes. The product designation is made up of those two numbers: Rg 6-12, for example, means 6 mm holes every 12 mm. The open area is calculated from the same figures.

What is open area and why does it matter?

It is the share of hole area in the total sheet area, as a percentage. It determines how much air, light and sound get through - and how much metal is left, and therefore how stiff the sheet is. The greater the open area, the lighter the sheet, but also the softer.

Are other size combinations possible?

Yes. The table lists the most common production combinations, but we can adjust the hole size and pitch to the project. Send us what you need and we will confirm whether that combination is made.
