Frequently asked questions
Why is titanium more expensive?
An aluminium alloy does not rust in principle - it needs no zinc layer that wears away over time. Hence the warranty of up to 30 years and no maintenance. On the coast or near industry that pays off; in an ordinary location the polyurethane version is enough.
What is the difference between the three finishing options?
Without a trim, the gutter hangs on brackets and the roof structure shows; this is the cheapest and most common solution. With a front trim, the fascia is covered by a flat band and the eaves look finished. The third option is the same, only a square rather than a round downpipe is used - often chosen for modern architecture. The gutter itself stays round in every case.
How is the gutter size chosen?
By the roof area it collects: the larger the slope, the wider the gutter and the thicker the downpipe needed. For an ordinary house 125/90 or 150/100 is enough, for industrial buildings 190/150. Send us the roof dimensions and we will calculate it.
What does the system include?
Gutters, downpipes, bends, tees, outlets, brackets, connectors and stop ends. We supply everything from one system, so the parts really do fit and the colour is consistent.
Can I get a colour sample?
Yes. We send a sample by post or show it in person - on screen a colour always looks different from coated metal.
