Eaves ventilation strip
A perforated strip at the start of the eaves. Air passes under the sheet through the fine holes, while birds and rodents do not. It is mandatory when fitting modular tiles - and it also makes laying the first course easier.

Warranty length and colour choice depend on the coating, not the steel. Colour on screen is always approximate - we will send a sample before you order.
Coating shade can vary slightly between raw-material batches. If you are adding to an existing order or need an exact shade - tell us when you order.

Frequently asked questions
Will flashing colour really match the roof sheet?
It will, if ordered together with the roof. The manufacturer guarantees a single shade within one order, and between different batches the paint shade can differ slightly - that is the nature of the coating process. So we calculate the flashings together with the roofing, and if you order more later, do say it is a continuation of an earlier order.
How many flashings are needed?
It is calculated from the edge length, with an allowance added for the joints - usually about 10%. Send us the roof dimensions or a drawing and we will prepare a list with quantities.
Can you make a custom flashing?
Yes. To your drawing we fold runs up to 7 m long from sheet up to 3.0 mm thick, as well as industrial flashings for the junctions of large buildings. We can also slit sheet into strips and punch fixing holes. Send us a sketch with dimensions and angles.
Can flashings be had with the nano-WAVE surface?
Yes, and it is new. The nano-WAVE micro-texture scatters reflections and hides small imperfections - which shows most on long runs. If the roofing already has that surface, it is worth choosing the same for the flashings so the trim does not look glossier than the roof.
From what temperature can it be fitted?
The manufacturer recommends no lower than +5 °C. In the cold the coating becomes more brittle, and sealing tapes and silicone stop bonding.
