T35KD smoke barrier
A fixed steel smoke barrier for the ceilings of large spaces. In a fire it holds smoke and hot gases within one zone, so people have time to leave and the fire spreads more slowly. It withstands over 600 °C.

Frequently asked questions
What is a smoke barrier for?
In large spaces smoke spreads along the ceiling and quickly fills the whole area. The barrier divides the ceiling zone into sections, so smoke collects where the fire started and is easier to extract through smoke vents. That buys time for evacuation.
Is this the same as a fire wall?
No. The barrier hangs from the ceiling and holds back only the smoke below it - it is not a wall and does not separate rooms. The solution is designed by a fire safety specialist.
What height should I order?
Up to 4.5 m. The exact height is set by the design: it depends on the room height, the smoke extraction system and the size of the reservoir zone.
Can I choose the colour?
Yes, it is coated with polyester on both sides in any RAL colour - usually chosen so that the barrier blends into the ceiling.
